Mahogany Gallery is proud to represent internationally acclaimed collage artist Della Wells at the PIGMENTED Black Fine Art Fair at Xhou B Art Center in Chicago. Mahogany presents over 35 original works of Wells at the show. These works represent her unique style, but a different execution of collage figures on archival paper.
Our curatorial theme, “Collective Rhythms,” celebrates the shared energy, creativity, and cultural harmony that connect Black artists and communities around the world.
Wells’ powerful collages—rich with symbolism, storytelling, and ancestral spirit—embody this rhythm. Each piece weaves together history, imagination, and the enduring strength of Black womanhood.
