Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo is BACK for 2024!


Racine, WI. - November 7, 2023

Mahogany Gallery and Mahogany Black Arts & Culture Center proudly announce the 2024 Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo, a spectacular two-month-long celebration of Black contributions in the arts, spanning across the rich tapestry of Wisconsin and the entire United States.

The Expo will host a variety of events throughout the Racine, Milwaukee and Kenosha communities. The Expo has added America's Black Holocaust Museum as event venues. Also Lemon Street Gallery , UW-Parkside, Mahogany Gallery , hot shop Glass and Racine Art Museum will serve as hosts for Expo events. Expo 3 will be chock full of fun, education and community for all !

The 3rd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo kicks off February 10, 2024 with the Black Tie Kick Off Gala.

Last year, the Expo infused thousands of dollars into the Wisconsin economy, and brought visitors from across the United States to our beloved state.


The Expo features the following events:

- **Curated Art Exhibition:** Immerse yourself in a breathtaking display of artistic expression, showcasing the diverse and vibrant works of Black artists from various mediums.

- **Arts Instructional and Education Programming:** Learn from the best in the industry through workshops and educational sessions, fostering creativity and skill development.

- **Historical Presentations:** Explore the rich history of Black culture through enlightening presentations that bring to light the significant contributions made by Black individuals throughout history.

- **Gospel Explosion Live Event:** Experience the soul-stirring power of gospel music in a new and electrifying live event that promises to uplift and inspire.

- **Legacy In The Arts Awards** The annual award presentations to career creatives who’ve had an impact and longevity in the arts.
